12G BNC and HD-BNC connectors optimized for 4K Ultra HD broadcast

BNC and HD-BNC nonnectorsHeilind Electronics now offers the manufacturer’s 12G high-frequency BNC and HD-BNC connectors.

The new BNC connectors are optimized for 4K Ultra High-Definition video and provide fully intact signal transmission via a single channel. Featuring a data transfer rate of up to 12 Gbps, these innovative connectors offer an advantage over legacy BNC models that support only 3 GHz and require two to four channels. In addition, the products’ miniature and high-density subminiature architecture conserves space.

Operating at 75 ohm, the versatile BNC and HD-BNC connectors and are available in both cable configurations and PCB configurations with edge-mount, straight and right-angle options.

The connectors are designed for a broad range of 12G-SDI video applications, including digital A/V cards or routing systems, mobile broadcast, studio integration and broadcast cameras.
