All-in-one hybrid push-lock connector solution for manual mating

August 19, 2019 By Mary Gannon Leave a Comment

ODU, Camarillo, Calif., has launched to the US market the new revolutionary all-in-one hybrid ODU-MAC Push-Lock connector solution, part of the ODU-MAC Blue-Line portfolio.

odu mac push-lock hybrid connectorsODU-MAC Blue-Line is a modular, easy-to-use manual mating connector system for everyday mating cycles. Its modular design enables it to combine many individual connectors into one. With the growing trend for miniaturization, ODU now offers the ODU-MAC Push-Lock, an even more compact ODU-MAC connector that can be custom-fitted with up to 70 signal contacts and power, coax, air, fluid and data rates.

Additional product benefits include: easy one-handed operation, up to 5,000 mating cycles, push-pull design for secure connections and space savings, and IP67 rating. Its locking mechanism is highly reliable, user-friendly and requires a minimal installation effort. A clip mechanism fixes the back of the receptacle to the assembly wall, therefore no screws are necessary at the front. This design makes both the connector and the receptacle easy to clean.

ODU-MAC Push-Lock is ideal for various industries and applications such as but not limited to rack systems, computer centers, and numerous medical applications.
