Binder expands M12 X-coded connector family

Binder USA LP announced the extension of the M12-X product line with a female cable connector and RJ45 to female feedthrough for control cabinets. The M12 X-coded cable connectors are part of binder’s 825 Series, which features data transmission 4-paired up to 10 Gbit/s. The new connectors are available straight or angled with 8 gold-plated contacts. The M12-X offers an IP67 degree of protection with the RJ45 being rated IP20.

Key applications include factory automation, food and beverage, packaging, and more. Key features include:

  • Series: 825
  • Contacts: 8
  • Coding: X
  • Thread: M12 x 1
  • Rated current: 0.5 A
  • Rated voltage: 50 Vac, 60 Vdc
  • Degree of protection: IP67, RJ45 IP20
  • Contact plating: Au (gold)
  • Termination: M12-X, RJ45
