Field assembly M12 connectors available with A or B coding

October 3, 2025 By Redding Traiger Leave a Comment

Same Sky’s Interconnect Group announced the addition of M12 field assembly plugs to its line of circular connectors. Designed for wire termination in industrial and factory automation, robotics, and related applications, these field assembly plug connectors provide engineers with flexible configuration options for demanding environments.

The M12 connectors are available in male or female plug types with A coding or B coding, supporting position options from 2 to 17 pins. All models meet IP67 standards for protection against dust and water ingress. Engineers can select from screw or solder terminal terminations, PG7 or PG9 cable outlet sizes, straight or right-angle orientations, and shielded or unshielded housings to match specific application requirements.

The electrical specifications include voltage ratings of 30, 60, or 250 V and current ratings of 1.5, 2, or 4 A. The connectors operate across a temperature range from -25 to 80°C. Additional coding options are available as custom configurations to address specialized connection protocols.

The CPM12 models are available immediately with prices starting at $3.56 per unit at 100 pieces through distribution. Please contact Same Sky for OEM pricing.
