Heilind Electronics introduces Switchcraft cable-to-cable shielded Mini-Con-X

April 27, 2020 By Mary Gannon Leave a Comment

Heilind Electronics, an authorized distributor for Switchcraft and a premier distributor of electronic components worldwide, is now stocking the manufacturer’s Shielded Mini-Con-X connectors.

Heiland Switchcraft Mini Con-XThis new connector from Switchcraft enhances the industry standard design of the Mini-Con-X by adding a metal housing for shielding and improved durability. This expansion also includes a field-installable cable-mount receptacle for every pin configuration, presenting more options for application use.

With its rugged design and IP68-level mated protection, the Shielded Mini-Con-X is highly durable in harsh environments. In addition, the included conducting tape and copper alloy housing with non-magnetic EN plating contribute to the product’s superior EMI-RFI shielding.

The series is available with 20 and 16 AWG contacts in straight and right-angle configurations. Shielded Mini-Con-X connectors are ideal for use in medical electronics, telecommunications, test and measurement applications and data acquisition, as well as in industrial and factory equipment.
