High-power connectors support 200 – 450 A range

December 24, 2025 By Redding Traiger Leave a Comment

Amphenol Industrial Operations now offers the TS1 Series, a high-performance industrial power connector developed to meet the growing demand for electrification, which requires robust, reliable power connectors capable of performing under harsh environmental conditions.
The new series is ideal for high-power electrified and hybrid applications with high thermal, mechanical, and electrical stresses, such as electric vehicles and manufacturing systems across the industrial, transportation, and commercial sectors, and energy storage systems, like those found in data centers and power transformers.
Engineered for design flexibility, the TS1 Series offers versatile termination methods for receptacles and flexible wire routing options for plugs, making equipment design easier and cable management more efficient. The series, which comes in 8.0 mm and 12.0 mm contact sizes, can be used in many high-voltage, high-current applications.
Advanced features that enhance connector performance include a rigid metal shell and latch, 360° electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, and an operating voltage of 2,000 V (12.0 mm) or 1,500 V (8.0 mm). The TS1 Series provides a wide current capacity range from 200A to 450A and a cable range of 35 mm2 to 120 mm2, with individually shielded wire.
The robust connectors are UL 4128 certified, USCAR2 compliant, meet IP6K9K for environmental resistance, and have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The TS1 Series can endure 500 mating cycles and withstand 20G vibration with rated current.
