Siemon Interconnect Solutions, a business unit of Siemon that provides custom network infrastructure solutions to OEMs, value-added resellers and system integrators, has announced the results from its participation in the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory’s (UNH-IOL) Open Networking Plugfest which took place in December of 2016.
The Open Networking Plugfest examined interoperability among NOS (network operating systems), whitebox switches and pluggable modules and cables.
Siemon Interconnect Solutions is now publishing the test reports which show that its 2 and 3 meter SFP28 DAC copper cable assemblies passed when using Mellanox switches and Cumulus Linux and Mellanox MLNX-OS operating systems.
