TE Connectivity recognizes top performing distributors

May 19, 2016 By Mary Gannon Leave a Comment

TE-Connectivity-logoTE Connectivity presented its 2015 Electronic Distributor Awards during its recent Global Distribution Summit in Atlanta, Georgia. The annual awards recognize TE’s highest-performing distribution partners based on sales and market share growth, business plan performance and customer satisfaction. TE presented the 2015 Electronic Global Distributor of the Year awards to TTI, Inc. and Mouser Electronics, Inc., in the Broadline and Catalog distributor categories, respectively.

“We are pleased to recognize these two outstanding partners,” said Joan Wainwright, president, Channel and Customer Experience, at TE. “For the sixth time, TTI received our 2015 Broadline Global Distributor of the Year award. They achieved point of sale (POS) growth globally, and despite a challenging market, increased their inventory of TE products by 17 percent, demonstrating their commitment to TE. For the third year in a row TE’s Catalog Global Distributor of the Year award was earned by Mouser, who had more than a 10 percent increase in global POS and a 15 percent increase in their customer base. We are proud of these partnerships and applaud both TTI and Mouser for sharing TE’s commitment to growing our business.”

“TTI is extremely proud to be recognized by TE Connectivity for our achievements in growing the business globally, enabled through our strategy of continued education on technical competence, strong investments in inventory, building a wider customer base, and leading with new product introductions,” said Mike Morton, global president of sales and marketing, TTI. “This recognition is the result of having a sound strategy, then executing the strategy. We take our role as a TE Connectivity authorized distributor seriously and always put all effort forward to meet the obligations of the authorization. We thank everyone at TE Connectivity for this recognition.”

“We are honored to receive this top award from TE Connectivity, a recognized leader in the industry and one of our most valued manufacturer partners,” said Glenn Smith, Mouser Electronics’ president and CEO. “We would like to thank TE for this award and for their continued partnership. TE is a global leader with a wide product portfolio, world-class quality and commitment to customer service that parallels our own mission to be best-in-class in everything we do. We look forward to much future success together.”

Regional awards were also presented to TE’s distribution partners who excelled in sales performance and localized program success. Winners of the regional awards were: Avnet Abacus in EMEA; Powell Electronics in the Americas; KANETSU CO.,LTD. in Japan; and Heilind Electronics, Inc. in Asia Pacific (excluding Japan).
