FasTest FasMate Connector Series Expanded

October 15, 2013 By Abby Esposito Leave a Comment

FasTest Inc. announces its FasMate Series connectors are now available in new metric thread sizes to accommodate international testing applications.

The FasMate Series connectors deliver cost, process and quality improvements to multiple industries and applications, including: manifolds, engine blocks, transmissions, brake and steering systems, transmitters, valves, gauges and instrument calibration, pressure vessels, pipes, plumbing, irrigation and spray system filling or testing. For more information, watch the FasMate Series connectors video.

The successful introduction of the NPT and SAE O-Ring models has driven FasTest to expand the product family with Metric O-ring Boss, BSPP and BSPT models for internal and external thread profiles. FasMate FN and FX connectors perform quick, easy connections for reliable operation in pressure and vacuum testing, media filling, flushing and performance testing applications.

The easy actuation FasMate connectors feature a split collet design, which securely locks the connectors to the threads without operator adjustment or the use of sealant and wrenches. The modular design has three styles of actuation—squeeze lever, pneumatic pilot and pneumatic thumb valve. This flexibility allows users to easily change from manual to an automated connection application for higher volume leak and pressure testing requirements.

Additional benefits:

  • Improves capacity in high volume testing applications
  • Simplified design for fast maintenance and field repairs
  • Pressure assisted grip and seal locks connector in static or dynamic applications for added operator safety
  • Ergonomic design reduces operator stress from repetitive motion applications
