FCI, a supplier of power connectors and interconnect systems, is proud to announce the release of the 100Amp Pwr TwinBlade Hot-Swap cable connector. The new connector accepts up to a 25mm (4 AWG) wire and includes engagement sensing contacts to indicate when the power contacts are connected, eliminating potential damage from hot-plug conditions. 
The Pwr TwinBlade cable connector is a next generation cable-to board DC power distribution connector supporting > 140 amps per linear inch. It is rated at 100A per power contact without exceeding a 30°C temperature rise in still air, using 25mm² wire. The connector is offered in both straight and right angle cable exits and can be terminated to either a printed circuit board or a Busbar.
