Founded in Switzerland in 1946 in Morges along the Geneva lake shore, LEMO took its name from the company’s founder, the current CEO’s grandfather, engineer Léon Mouttet. Originally a manufacturer of contacts in noble and rare metals, the company took a major step forward in 1957 with the invention of the Push-Pull self-latching connector.
